(Concord, NH) - A Manchester man faces multiple charges after leading police on a high-speed pursuit Sunday morning.

State Police observed a vehicle weaving through traffic on I-93 in Bow and clocked the vehicle at 108 miles-per-hour.

Police were able to stop the vehicle in Concord, but the driver refused to provide identification.

After failing a field sobriety test, he was arrested and placed in the back of a cruiser.

While being transported, the suspect became combative and belligerent, threatening officers and trying to kick out the cruiser windows.

Police were able to identify the suspect as 38 year old Tommie Campbell of Manchester.

Campbell was charged with Aggravated DUI, DUI - 3rd Offense, Driving while a Habitual Offender, Disobeying An Officer, Criminal Threatening and Reckless Operation.

Campbell was held overnight and will appear in court this morning.

A Sanbornville man faces charges after a Sunday afternoon accident in Rochester.
25 year old Duane Chenette was charged with DUI after his northbound car went across Milton Road and struck a snowbank in the southbound lane. There were no injuries in the accident just after 3 Sunday afternoon.

Schools reopened today after a weeks vacation for most, and a 2-weeks break for students in several districts where concerns over snow-loads closed school buildings. Districts were busy during the break removing snow from school roofs.

Students at Winninquam Regional Middle School are getting an extra day off. A water main break has forced officials to cancel classes at the middle school in Tilton. All other schools in the district are open.

Portland set a record in February. The average temperature of 14 degrees breaks to record for coldest month in history.
