Hillbilly Weatherman is Holding a Fundraiser for Veterans and Needs Your Help

New England's favorite Facebook meteorologist is hosting a benefit for veterans this weekend.

Hillbilly Weatherman is hosting a pig roast BBQ to benefit the Liberty House and Patriot Guiard Riders on Saturday, August 6 from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the American Legion Post 59 in Hillsborough, NH.

With a zero budget, and nothing but generosity from some great folks, I will be hosting a Pig Roast / BBQ to benefit our local veterans. Every dime raised will be donated to the Liberty House and the Patriot Guard Riders. These organizations have a proven record with how they spend their money supporting veterans. I need your help though. Please consider buying some tickets and attending the event. If you cannot attend, a donation can be made directly to American Legion Post 59, P.O. Box 1538, Hillsboro, NH 03244 Attn: Jim Elliot. Be sure to write "veterans benefit" in the memo on your check. Thank you everyone and I hope to see you there!

Food will be served at the event from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. and will have a cash bar, live entertainment from the Jim Libby Band, and a horseshoe tournament.

Cost to get in is $15 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, and children under 6 are free.
