The crash in Portsmouth backed up traffic this morning, but the real question is how the heck did this happen?

Seacoast Online reports that this car got stuck under a tanker truck at Pease International Tradeport this morning. Reporter Elizabeth Dinan posted the picture of the accident to Twitter.

All the people stuck in traffic around the scene are probably wondering how a car gets wedged under a tanker like that.

No word on injuries yet and hopefully everyone involved made it out okay. The driver of the stuck car is from Massachusetts, which I have heard has pretty bad drivers. Personally, I think Rhode Island has the worst drivers, with Massachusetts at a close second.

A realistic theory would be that the car lost control and managed to drive under the tanker and get stuck, or the truck didn't see the car while changing lanes. My theory is that there was some road rage between the two and the tanker driver decided to embarrass the other driver in the best way possible. I have no evidence for the latter, but we will see what police find out.
