How to Freeze Your Homegrown Peas

You'd probably never guess that these images from this 4th of July weekend have got me thinking of Thanksgiving but soon you will see why.

Peas! One of the earliest crops of the year is also one of my favorites but can be a lot of work to pick, shell and freeze. I better let this English gent demonstrate the latter because parboiling is not my strong suit.

It never ceases to amaze me how great these peas taste when they're on the table at Thanksgiving. It almost makes the planting, weeding, pest maintenance, picking, shelling, parboiling and freezing worth it!
