Iconic NH Drive-In Soon To Be For Sale

Summertime is almost here and this is the season where many of my thoughts are centered around Weirs Beach, the cornerstone of the Lakes Region. I couldn't believe it when I saw this iconic place is soon to be up for sale.

If I win a huge jackpot, this will be one of the first places I'll buy. I saw The Karate Kid here in 1984 and if I owned this theater, I think I'd rerun that movie every night and not allow anyone else entry. I'd sit in a lawnchair, just one speaker on one pole, munching on a huge tub of popcorn screaming "Yeah Johnny! Get 'em a bodybag!" night after night like a summertime Howard Hughes.
