Pulling weeds from your garden or lawn is not much fun. But how about doing that job atop Mt. Washington? Much better, right?

The New Hampshire division of state parks along with the the New Hampshire Natural Heritage Bureau are in need of help removing invasive dandelions at the peak of Mt. Washington.

There will be two opportunities for volunteers to help out. One is scheduled for this Friday, July 28th and the next Friday. Volunteers will be taken to the summit in state vehicles, and will spend several hours removing the plants.

If you're of mind to help out, please dress for the weather, including wearing layers and proper footwear. You must bring food and water, as well as work gloves.
