Is This Dinosaur-Sized Gator on a Florida Golf Course Real or Fake?

The internet is toying with our eyes again after the Myakka Pines Golf Club posted these photos of an enormous alligator on their Facebook page.

Real or fake?

The golf course posted on their Facebook page that, "Lots of people think the pic is photo shopped....Nope! We just grown 'em big in these parts!!"

I'm torn on the issue. On one hand, my brain is saying real because I'm one of those people who'll believe anything on the internet. And on the other hand, my heart is saying fake. Or at least hoping it's fake because I'll never golf in Florida ever again if there's a chance of running into one of these bad Larrys while fishing for my $6 Titleist.
