If I'm going to pay over a quarter of a million dollars to eat at Bruce's house, shouldn't I get to pick the meal? If so, I guarantee you it would not be lasagna.Having lasagna with Bruce was just one of the items 'The Boss' auctioned off at the eighth annual Stand Up For Heroes benefit concert, which raises money for the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

Other items Bruce sweetened the pot with were the Fender Telecaster he was playing during the auction, a one-hour guitar lesson, as well as a ride around the block in the sidecar of his motorcycle. That would be my favorite part, as I've always wanted to ride in a motorcycle side-car, and having Bruce Springsteen as my chauffeur would make it that much better.

Back to the lasagna. There are too many ways to turn that dish into something I wouldn't care for...adding eggplant or some other god-forsaken vegetable. I'd much prefer a good steak with baked potato. Easy as that.

There would have to be an agreed upon time that the dinner would end. I don't want to see Bruce looking at his watch and fake yawning, trying to usher me out before I'm done asking all of my questions and trying to see what I could lift from his house as a little memento (hey, I paid $300,000 after all).
