It’s Going To Cost More To Park In Portsmouth
Starting on Sunday, September 27th, one of the seacoast's biggest aggravations is going to cost 25 cents more.
The bad news. High-occupancy area hourly parking rates will increase from $1.50 an hour to $1.75 an hour. Other meter rates in the city will change from $1 an hour to $1.25 an hour.
Now the good news. There is a discount rate approved by the City Council of $1.50 per hour for the high occupancy area and $1 an hour for all other meter areas for residents using an EasyPark in-car meter, according to a press release.
