Usually the National Day Calendar features many options to celebrate. Today (June 24th) is designated ONLY as National Praline Day. This recipe from Toya Boudy certainly deserves that kind of distinction!

PLEASE be careful when your making this or any other candy as boiling syrup can be very dangerous if you're not particularly coordinated. I would never attempt this or fudge or peanut brittle because I'm way too clumsy.
