In all my years as The Shark's official NH Drought correspondent, I can not recall the official drought map EVER looking quite like this.

Usually this bold yellow color is accompanied by the tan of 'Moderate Drought' and some small dots of orange for a dash of severity.

As you can plainly see, the entire state is now a perfect 9 out of 9 counties in the category of 'Abnormal Dryness'.

Since I cannot recall this ever happening, I'd have to agree with the 'Abnormal' labeling.

Although, as an amateur artist (very amateur), I must admit that an entire palate of 'Lemon Yellow' does NOTHING for my creativity.

I hope by next Thursday the color wheel will be more diverse because I CANNOT continue to try to work my illustrative magic with these bleak conditions.
