Friday night festivities include Wayne from Maine as the opening act, and at 7:30 p.m. Miss New Hampshire 2016 will perform the national anthem, followed by "Bad Breath Microphone." The fireworks show will begin at dusk.

Saturday, The Children's Festival will take place in two locations, Memorial Drive from 10am-4pm and Noble Pines Park from 10am-3pm.

At the Memorial Drive location, you'll be able to enjoy food, games, lots of activities and rides. There will be continuous entertainment at the Pavilion Stage featuring the Half Moon Jug Band, our friends the On Tap Band, the McDonough-Grimes Irish Dancers, and Mr. B’s TaeKwon Do.

Noble Pines Park will feature petting zoo Wildlife Encounters, pony rides, water park and entertainment featuring Tricky Dick the Magician, Steve Blunt and Friends, and Judy Pancoast.

There is no fee to enter the gated "celebration" area, but a suggested donation of $5 per family or $2 per person will help support this wonderful event. All donations help to ensure that Somersworth can present the Children's Festival for years to come.
