I’ve Had Enough Of The Cold Weather Lectures from the Media

Are you sick and tired of being told to "bundle up" when it's -4 degrees outside? Me too.

It's as if the folks on radio, TV, newspapers pretend that we don't have 1/2 a brain. And , if you read the news, I can sort of see where they are coming from. Some people do very stupid things on a daily basis.

But I get very tired of media people telling me to "make sure my pets are inside", "check on the elderly" and "dress in layers in this cold".

I don't know about you, but I've lived in this climate for most of my life, and at a very early age I learned how to dress for the weather, hot or cold. I have a handle on how to make myself comfortable.

As I write this, A-Train and I are chuckling at Channel 9's Ray Brewer, who's dressed like an Eskimo this morning, and holding the obligatory thermometer, showing all that's it's cold outside.
