NESN stated yesterday that Jerry Remy would be back as the primary color analyst for the Red Sox TV broadcasts next year.

According to the press release from NESN, Jerry Remy would work as the color man "for at least 100 games". That's less than his previous schedule.

As for his part, Remy said

“NESN and the Red Sox have been very good to me over the years and I hope to continue for a long period of time what I consider to be the best job in the world of broadcasting. I also look forward to welcoming my new play-by-play partner Dave O’Brien to the NESN team"

 

2016 will be Jerry Remy's 29th with the Red Sox.
