my favorite sports memoir of all timebeing made into a movie starring Josh Duhamel

I'm still in a bit of shock, as the timeline of the book follows Bill Lee from birth until the end of his major league career in 1982, not exactly a typical Hollywood formula. (He was banned from the league after that season, basically for being too opinionated. He could easily strikeout any member of The Shark staff, even at age 68.)

For the life of me, I cannot figure out the process of how a 32 year old sports novel, gets developed into a movie with a major star. It must have been one hell of a 'pitch' to the producers. And looking at this cast picture, Duhamel does appear quite similar to Lee's early '80s style in the Montreal Expos era.

Let's just try to put this in perspective, in the harsh statistical terms of the social media world. Duhamel has 955,000 followers on Twitter, Lee has 355. I'm so happy that this story will be told to millions and I plan on updating any and all movie news concerning 'The Wrong Stuff' the second I find out more.
