Gigantic sized vegetables are being found everywhere on NH's seacoast! Harvest time can be a lot of fun and can result in many big surprises.

These folks in Hampton had this gigantic pumpkin sprout from the compost pile of last year's crop. I'm pretty sure this is a Cinderella pumpkin (yes, that's a real breed name) and believe it or not, they start out the color, size and shape of a lemon.

Also, my nephews were astounded yesterday as they dug up the largest potatoes in the history of my parent's Gonic, NH farm.
