According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Dickey Betts, 74 was diagnosed with 'post-stroke repercussions' and was forced to postpone the three upcoming shows scheduled for this week.

The last of which is at The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. At the time of this article publishing, we can only assume that this show will be rescheduled as the following Facebook statement from his management specifically indicates that rescheduling it is a priority.

The prognosis that he will be '100% recovered in three to five weeks' is wonderful news and has certainly added more than a touch of 'Blue Sky' to this dark cloud of a music news update.

We are always in constant contact with 'The HBCB' and will pass along any official information from them as soon as it becomes available.
