Donna Summer that is! Barry Scott celebrates New England tonight and this classic tune from 1979 was a monster hit for the forever beloved 'Queen Of Disco'.

Born LaDonna Gaines in the Mission Hill section of Boston, Donna dominated the Summer of 1979 with this title track. It stayed at the very top the American music charts for a remarkable 5 weeks that year.

It doesn't seem possible that she has been gone for 5 years now. She passed away in 2012 after losing her battle with lung cancer.
