I keep finding different new and exciting ways to reveal the set list of 'The Lost 45's With Barry Scott'. And even better, somehow, I keep getting away with it.

I'm shaking it up a bit this week as the artists I'll be posting will not be singing these songs on the show, but they're all terrific examples of live vocals. Sadly, this is becoming a rare thing in today's industry.

I love this Pat Benatar cover of John Cougar Mellencamp's 'I Need A Lover'. She and her husband Neil Giraldo will be rocking The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on May 1st. And she is the grand finale on the next episode of The Lost 45's singing another 'fiery' track.

Dolly Parton is one the greatest songwriters of the last 50 years, in my humble opinion. I love this live vocal of 'Jolene' from 1974. It is as beautiful as Porter Wagoner's suit is ugly. Listen for Dolly's performance of 'Here You Come Again' right in the middle of Barry Scott's 3 hour 'Ladies Night' special.

Here we have Mavis Staples belting out 'I'll Take You There' with The Staples Singers. Not only will she be performing but Barry Scott will interview her as well. After all, this show is 'America's largest Classic Hits and Interview Library' so don't miss it! 7-10pm each and every Saturday night on The Shark!
