Maine Brewery Now Offering Lobster Flavored Beer

There's nothing quite like the silky deliciousness of a lobster and a cold beer to wash it down with during summers here in New England. Thanks to Maine's own Oxbow Brewing Company we can enjoy both at the same time.

That's right. It's called Saison Dellaragosta (it means Lobster Saison in Italian) and is available for a limited time at Oxbow located in Newcastle, ME.

The beer is actually brewed with live lobsters and sea salt and it has 4.5% alcohol content. Sounds tasty!

If you want in on some lobster beer you have to hurry though. Brewmaster Tim Adams tells WCSH in Portland, "Get it now while it's here. We're going to brew another batch, but it takes about a year to make, so that won't be ready until next summer."
