Maine Granted Final Waiver for Real ID Compliance

With just NINE days to go before federal agencies would have stopped accepting Maine Driver licenses, a last minute waiver has been granted that will delay Real ID Compliance for a few years.

October 1st, 2020

According to WGME, non-Real ID licenses will still be accepted as valid identification through this date.

So that means you can still use your driver's license as an ID when say getting on a plane to travel.
