Maine Man Charged With NH Shooting Threats
(Somersworth, NH) - Police have charged 22 year old Jose Cardenas of Sanford, Maine with threatening to engage in a shooting at a business and a school.
Somersworth Police began to investigate the case last Thursday after a male subject threatened a shooting at the Aclara Meters plant on Maine Street in Somersworth and a shooting at a school, though no specific school was named in the threat.
On Friday, Police arrested 22 year old Jose Cardenas, charging him with 2 counts of Criminal Threatening.
Cardenas refused bail and was held in the Strafford County Jail over the weekend. He is scheduled for arraignment today in Strafford County Superior Court on the felony charges.
