A man who police say stole a woman’s dog in Seabrook, New Hampshire was arrested, after a standoff at a home in Methuen on Wednesday, according to CBS Boston. Steven O’Neil reportedly took the Shih Tzu pug from Lily Martinez’s car on Tuesday. CBS Boston says she left her car running with the air conditioning on, while she was in Walgreens.

Martinez knew who had taken her dog due to an anonymous tip, and went to O’Neil's home to confront him. He wasn't home, so she called the Methuen police. When police arrived, they reportedly saw someone pointing a gun at them, which prompted an hour-long standoff. O’Neil was taken into custody, and faces numerous charges.
