Man Tries to Kill Spider, Starts Gas Station Inferno [VIDEO]

On very rare occasions, I will find priceless footage of events that made it on my 'Stupid News' segment on The Shark Morning Show. This attempt at killing a spider with a cigarette lighter on a gasoline nozzle? Hall of Fame caliber performance. 

This case of arachnophobia brought about a severe case of pyrophobia for this gas pumper in Center Line, Michigan last week. Apparently, sparking up a cigarette lighter next to a functioning gasoline pump is not a great idea.

The real mystery here is why the fire suppression system didn't kick in? If you haven't seen one of these go off before, it's really impressive. I'm sure the people in the video below had several four-letter words to describe the intense cloud of baking soda that enveloped them, but I'll go with impressive.
