Market Basket Announces Lay-Offs [NEWS]

(New Hampshire) - Market Basket is laying off thousands of employees across the state. One of the current CEOs instructed store managers to cut all part time employees effective this Sunday. The Nashua store alone is  is letting 380 part time workers go. The store in Londonderry  is laying off about 470 part timers. CEOs Felicia Thornton and James Gooch say the lay offs are a result of a customer boycott that cut business at the stores by 96 percent.
