A Dedham, Massachusetts man has been indicted by a Suffolk County grand jury on two counts of larceny over $1,200 in a continuous scheme.

WCVB Channel 5 in Boston says Stephen P. Fagerberg, an employee of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has been charges with stealing more than $450,000 from fare collection boxes on MBTA buses in South Boston.

The way Fagerberg was caught sounds like something from a movie. According to WCVB, marked bills were placed in fare collection boxes that Fagerberg serviced. Investigators found he deposited the marked bills into his personal bank account.

WCVB says Fagerberg was arrested back in June and has been suspended without pay from his position at the MBTA. His next court appearance is on October 11.
