New Dover Police Station Open For Business

(Dover, NH) - The new Dover Police station on Chestnut Street opened its doors Tuesday.

A brief flag-raising ceremony was held outside the station before the new facility doors were opened by Police Chief Tony Colarusso.

Police staff and personnel continue to move items from the current Police Headquarters on Locust Street that they have inhabited for over 80 years. Finishing touches to the new building are expected to be completed within a few weeks.

A formal dedication of the new building is expected to be held in May.
