What could be worse for a die-hard New England Patriots fan than a lifetime ban from Gillette Stadium? Not much if you believe the comments from my friends that root for the Pats.

Well that's the exactly the sentence handed down to a 21 year-old New England fan who threw a beer at Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill following a touchdown on Sunday.

According to the website 12up, the fan threw the beer in Hill's face as he approached the stands. He has now been charged with disorderly conduct and throwing an object at a sporting event. And he's banned from Gillette Stadium for life.

The Boston Herald reported that a few Patriots fans also made obscene gestures at Hill. The sad part for most fans...it was all caught on camera by NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

Not a good look for a team who battles national image issues as cheaters and cry babies. But it is what it is I suppose. I'm just grateful that swift and immediate action was taken to punish the person who threw the beer.
