You can't win if you don't play (am I right?)

Well, you probably won't win and if you are reading this right now you most certainly did not. That means you are one of the thousands of New Hampshire hopefuls who spent millions on lottery tickets.

According to The Lotto Report, New Hampshire spent $6,455,677 on Powerball tickets for the Jan. 13 drawing.  New Hampshire ranked 13th in lottery ticket sales with about 2.4 tickets sold per person (according to statistics for the Jan. 9 drawing.)

Of course, they will not be sharing in the $1.6 billion jackpot that is currently being split between three winners in California, Florida and Tennessee. They beat the 1-in-292.2 million odds with the numbers: 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and Powerball 10.

This was a historic jackpot that whipped us all up into a money-grabbing frenzy, but now we can all go back to accepting our usual paychecks. Better luck next time folks.
