Andrew Drummond's goal in this massive hike is to encourage others to find their own adventure, no matter what size.

The 35-year-old super outdoorsman is calling the hike the White Mountain Direttissima and he is already making his way through the 4,000 footers.

He began his trip on July 24th, starting with Kinsman Notch, and is keeping his friends, family, and fans updated with multiple posts to Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. (Which is a challenge in itself)

Drummond has a GPS tracker with him at all times that will provide his location every 10 minutes. As of right now (Tuesday, July 26th at 12:35 p.m.) it look like he's making his way up Mt. Tecumseh

 

If he completes all 48 of New Hampshire's 4,000 footers he'll become the 7th person to have ever done so, and if he does it in seven days he'll hold that record by himself. The current record for hiking all the peaks is eight days.
