New Hampshire ‘Rite Aid’ Stores Could Soon Close
The merger that has the company that owns Walgreens acquiring close to 2,000 Rite Aid stores, is expected to be finalized this coming Spring.
Once that deal is done, Walgreens plans to shutter nearly to 600 Rite Aid stores. A report from Fortune, says some Walgreens stores will close too. The majority of stores that will shut down are ones that are within a mile from each other.
According to their website, there are 25 Walgreens locations in New Hampshire, and Rite Aid's website says they have 68 stores in the Granite State.
