The new restaurant will be called The Falls Grill and Tavern, and will be owned and operated by Dan DeGrace the owner of the Lamprey River Tavern in Newmarket, which will close next month.

“We have a very popular pub in downtown Newmarket and we are going to upgrade that concept and make it a little more contemporary, but then we are going to add hand-cut steaks and fresh seafood. I look forward to a much larger population base here in Dover with a much greater potential market than Newmarket,” DeGrace added. “It’s just such a busy town compared to what I am used to and it’s an absolutely beautiful property.”

The restaurant will be located on the main floor, with the downstairs being used as a function room. As of right now, there is no access to the deck that overlooks the Cocheco River, as that has a separate owner.

Kelley's Row left the space in Dover last August because of a sewer backup and has re-opened on Rt.108 in Somersworth.

The entire restaurant portion of the building has been gutted and totally re-done.
