26 year old Tony Imondi was last seen on July 1, 1998 when he left a horseshoe tournament at Bill's Seafood in Erroll.

When he was not heard from for several days, he was reported missing and there were numerous searches conducted, but no sign of Imondi was found.

This week, Fish & Game officials searched an area of the Androscoggin using side scan SONAR and detected an image on the river bottom. It was pulled from the water and determined to be the 1996 Ford Ranger that Imondi had been driving the day he was last seen.

Skeletal remains found in the truck went sent to the Medical Examiner for positive identification.
