This is my viewpoint from Friday night, looking out upon the southern end of Las Vegas Boulevard. It is from the 30th floor of the West Ivory Tower of The Palms. You can see The Mandalay Bay to the distant right and The Aria to the left. It was 75 degrees every day with bright sunshine and the nights were filled with jackpots, prime rib and oceans of adult beverages.

Upon my return I shoveled my way out of the airport parking lot, shoveled my driveway, woke up and looked out my front door at a sight that was slightly less appealing.

This is my viewpoint from this morning, looking down the front steps. It is from the first floor of my house. You can see another 4 inches of snow and ice covering everything I shoveled the night before. Some birds feasted on crabapples leaving an additional coating of apple pieces and dysentery. It is 28 degrees with 16mph winds. I can safely say that at least, just like Vegas, my night will be filled with adult beverages.
