Granite Staters BEWARE! The Emerald Ash Borer is devastating our ash trees. This WMUR interview is very informative if you can just ignore the ridiculous costume.

This gentleman's name is actually Fred Borman which is remarkably similar to his assumed name 'Fred E.A. Borerman'. According to this UNH article, he works for UNH Cooperative Extension as the Extension Forester for Rockingham County.

There's a lot of great information in this 3 minute interview concerning how the borer migrated to NH from Michigan, what to look for when identifying the EAB as well as similar looking insects that may be mistaken for the destructive pests.

Everything you need to know about the Emerald Ash Borer can also be found on this website NHBugs.org.

In closing, I'd like to commend the reporter, Siobhan Lopez, for staying focused while interviewing a 6 foot tall bug. I once interviewed The Amato's Tomato and I couldn't stop laughing the entire time.
