Oh Jeez, Snow is Coming to New Hampshire This Weekend

What have we done to deserve this? Why won't all that snow just stay away from our Octobers?

I don't know what Pagan gods we have to appease to keep snow the heck out of New Hampshire in October.

Northern New Hampshire may be getting some snowfall this weekend, which makes me a bit squeamish down here. I still have nightmares from Snowtober a few years ago and don't think I can handle another snowfall before Halloween hits.

On top of that, it could be in the 30s and 40s on Sunday. Guess I can just forget about enjoy the nice balance between horribly hot and horribly cold that autumn provides.

Listen, I just want to enjoy the fall season like every other New Englander. I desire nothing more than to enjoy the beautiful foliage and cool, but not too cold, evenings sipping down some sort of apple beverage or dessert.

Seeing snow coming to the state early makes me want to throw my hot apple cider into the face of the nearest pedestrian and just move to Florida. Of course, I would soon realize that Florida is horrible and come back, but it would be a nice warm break from our weather's fickle nature.

I want just a few more weeks of peace before everyone starts posting pictures of the snow and posting thousands of shots all over social media.
