Rookie QB Jacoby Brissett led the Patriots to a 27-0 victory over the Texans last night, but it looks like he suffered an injury during the game.

Brissett tore a ligament in his right thumb during the second half and it was visibly bothering him on the sidelines.

Several reports are saying the injury isn't serious although he may need surgery.

The Pats don't play again until October 2nd when they face the Bills, so they have time for Jacoby Brissett and Jimmy G. to get healthy. 4 more quarters without Brady, just need to get past Buffalo with a win.

That was a great win last night, shut out the Texans, pretty impressive to be 3-0 with everything the Patriots are dealing with now.

GO PATS!
