(Northwood, NH) - An Epsom man is dead and three people are hospitalized after a head-on crash Sunday evening in Northwood.NH State Police say a car driven by 43 year old Robert Guay of Epsom was westbound on Route 4 just after 6 Sunday evening and crossed the center line, striking an oncoming vehicle head-on. Guay was airlifted to a Boston hospital where he died of his injuries Sunday night. A passenger in his car, 38 year old Tina Chambers of Epsom, was taken to Concord Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 75 year old William Holmes and 74 year old Beverly Holmes of Northwood were in the second vehicle. They were taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 6 pm crash resulted in a closure of Route 4 until around 10 Sunday night. Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
