O’Neil Cinemas In Epping To Show Market Basket Movie

The movie is titled "We The People: The Market Basket Effect" and is one of two films that tell the story of the dispute between Arthur T. and the former heads of the company.

O'Neil Cinemas in Epping will show the movie beginning on Friday, April 15 to Thursday, April 21. The theater is even offering a $1 discount to Market Basket workers with proof of employment.

Until now, I was unaware there was another movie regarding Market Basket. We all remember the summer of 2014 when 25,000 workers walked off the job and many loyal shoppers refused to shop there until Arthur T was reinstated as CEO. I was happy to not shop there in support of Artie T and the workers.

This story obviously struck a nerve with many people throughout the country. It's a story that is the subject of not one, but two movies, the other film on the labor dispute of summer 2014, "Food Fight - Inside the Battle for Market Basket," was produced by Portsmouth filmmaker Jay Childs.
