Patriot Fans Have A Ready Made Villain For Sunday’s Game

Pats conspiracy theorists need look no further than the man in charge of the officials working the AFC Championship game.

NFL referee Ed Hochuli is known to most NFL fans as the ref with large biceps. But to Patriot Nation, he's up there on the 'most wanted list' for people who have screwed the team over.

Well Ed's assignment on Sunday is to head the officiating crew for the Pats game against Denver to decide the Championship of the AFC.

You should know that since 2008, the Broncos are 6-0 in games refereed by Hochuli, while the Patriots are 3-4 in Hochuli games since 2010.

Do fans really believe Roger Goodell and the NFL would actually make it even harder for the Patriots to win on Sunday just so the commish doesn't have to hand a member of the Pats an AFC Championship trophy, or heaven forbid, the Vince Lombardi trophy?
