Another team's trash is another team's treasure. Welcome back Mr. Blount!

The Patriots have signed running back Legarette Blount to a 2-year deal worth the veteran's minimum (plus incentives). Belichick loves him some frugal deals.

The Pittsburgh Steelers released Blount on Tuesday not even 24 hours after their Monday night victory over the Titans. Blount was seen walking off the field before the end of the game, unhappy with the amount of carries he had.

I'd be unhappy too if had to play with a bloated neanderthal like Ben Roethlisberger. The guy didn't even know Blount had been released and found out during an interview with Rich Eisen.

The signing adds depth to the running game and also takes care of the future. Stevan Ridley, and Shane Vareen are both free agents after this year. (See ya Ridley!)

As has been the norm for the Patriots' mid season pickups, Blount will most likely do well this weekend against the Lions.

Even Facebook Tom Brady knows what to do at all times...
