Patriots Claim Wide Receiver Michael Floyd Off Of Waivers

The Patriots have added another receiver to the team. They claimed Michael Floyd off of waivers from the Arizona Cardinals.

The Patriots released Griff Whalen, who they just signed last Friday, to make room for Floyd. Floyd is having a terrible season and he was just arrested in Scottsdale for DUI, obstructing a roadway and failure to obey an officer. He has been a good receiver in the past and he's still young so he has some upside.

I got to watch a lot of Michael Floyd in college, he played for Notre Dame and he was incredible. He was a first round pick for the Cardinals and was quite productive right off the bat. Lets hope he can find that again and help the Pats win the Super Bowl!
