The 2014 NFL season officially begins tonight when the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks take on the Green Bay Packers, but for Patriots fans the real season starts on Sunday when our New England Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins in South Beach!

Expectations for this Patriots team are huge because they have been built to win with the offseason additions of Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis and former Seahawks safety Brandon Browner. Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski is healthy. Patriots Nose Tackle Vince Wilfork is healthy. And Tom Brady is still Tom Brady.

Bottom line: The Patriots should run the table in the AFC East as they usually do, win the AFC Championship game and win the Super Bowl XLlX in Arizona come February 2015. Just look at their schedule.

Be sure to listen to all of the Patriots games this season on the Blimp, 102.9 FM, the Patriots Maine Rock Radio Network. Also, the Blimp is all over YouTube with its Pats coverage:
