So this is what it's like to have a shutdown corner? Welcome to Revis Island every Detroit Lion ever.

This game was never really in doubt. At times the scoreboard may have told a different story, but it just felt like the Patriots were going to win from the get go. For that reason it was a perfect game to host a Bud Light Patriots Party at the Thirsty Moose.

Place was packed!

On to the game...as this season progresses and this team continues to steam roll the rest of the league the play of Darrelle Revis has impressed me the most.

We've seen the offense light up teams before, but we've never seen a cornerback in the prime of their career shutting down the passing game; for which the lions are known for by the way.

Revis Island was on display yesterday. The guy was running routes better than the Lions' receivers were. Incredible to watch. Last week it was Gronk's time to shine, this week it was clearly all about Revis. This guy has to be locked up long term!

All around the defense played great. Any time you can hold any opponent to 9 points you're playing great defense. And we're going to need that type of play next week when the Patriots head to Lambeau to face the Green Bay Packers.

Oh yeah, can't end this without mentioning the greatest punt return that never was...
