Pizzeria Uno Closes In Dover

Equipment was being removed from the location on Wednesday.

The restaurant at 238 Indian Brook Road closed Tuesday night. A sign on the door alerted patrons.

"We've closed these doors for the last time, but wanted to say thank you for being our guest."

According to an article at Fosters.com:

On Tuesday, a person who answered the phone at Uno Pizzeria & Grill, declined to be identified and said the store's closing was "a rumor" at that point. A person inside the restaurant on Wednesday declined to identify herself or speak to the media, and said the restaurant closed after the end of business on Tuesday night. Messages left with Uno Pizzeria & Grill corporate office in Boston were not returned.

The chain had recently spent close to $10 million remodeling restaurants and also re-branding.

So that makes 2 Uno's that have tried to make a go of it in the seacoast area. The Uno's in Newington closed a few years back, and now the Dover location is shuttered.
