Planes, Trains and Automobiles in New England Halted Due to Nor’easter

(Dover, NH) - The latest Nor'easter to hit New England has already forced a number of cancellations.

There will be blizzard-like conditions in some areas as heavy snow and strong, gusty winds combine to limit visibility. The National Weather Service expects travel to be very difficult to impossible during late afternoon and early evening.

Flights in and out of airports in Boston, Manchester and Portland have been cancelled or delayed. Check your airline if you are scheduled to fly today.

Amtrak has suspended service between Boston and New York this morning.

The Amtrak Downeaster is operating on a modified schedule today.

Local commuter bus services in many areas have curtailed operations for the day.
