Playoff Hockey In Manchester Tonight As The Monarchs Face The Pirates

The Manchester Monarchs face the Portland Pirates in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals tonight at the Verizon Wireless Arena at 7. The quest for the Calder Cup is on!

This is a best of five series.

Game 2 is Saturday in Manchester at 7PM

Game 3 is on Sunday in Portland at 5PM

Game 4 is on Thursday in Portland at 7PM (if necessary)

Game 5 is Saturday May 2nd In Manchester at 7PM (if necessary)

The Monarchs owned the Pirates in the regular season with a 9-2-0-1 record. Manchester is the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference while Portland sits at 8.

The Verizon Wireless Arena will be rocking tonight! I expect the Monarchs to take this series in 4 games. They are very familiar with the Pirates and they dominated them this season, so I don't see why it would be any different in the first round of the playoffs.
