It used to be we'd have a laugh at Steven Tyler's expense when he would forget his own words while performing at an Aerosmith concert or when David Lee Roth would talk his way through the songs at a Van Halen Show. But guess how we knew that? Their microphones were live!

Somehow it has become no big deal that performers like Janet Jackson ask big money from their fans, and are unable to sing and dance at the same time. Yet concert goers apparently have no issue with the fact that they could have saved a bunch of cash, stayed home, put on the CD, and gotten the same show.

But hey, when you look at the payday, I guess I can't blame them. Britney Spears has lip synced her entire career and is making $475K a show in Vegas for basically not singing a note and marching instead of dancing. And she'll be making that money 140 times over the next 2 years. That's almost an average of 3 shows a week. Well, at least you know she won't miss a show because of a sore throat.
