Popular Market Along Route 1 in North Hampton has Closed for Good

A seacoast, New Hampshire business that had been around for close to a decade has shut its doors for good.

The last day of operations for Philbrick's Fresh Market on Lafayette Road in North Hampton was Saturday, January 12th.

A note of thanks is affixed to the front door of the now vacant building thanking their customers and employees for 8 years in business. However, they say there were  not enough sales to maintain the store and could not continue on.

According to their Facebook page, the Philbrick's Fresh Market at 775 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth will remain open and 'will continue to serve the seacoast area as it has for 14 years'.

The hours of operation for their Portsmouth store are:
Seasonal Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 7pm Saturday - 8am - 6pm Sunday - 10am - 6pm
