For many, it seems like the true sign of the changing seasons is when Lago's Ice Cream in Rye announces it's closing for the year.

This always comes with mixed emotions. Sad to see one of the best ice cream stands in New Hampshire shut down for the Fall and Winter months. But, on the other hand, they close out their season by helping their neighbors and that's a good thing.

On Sunday, September 30th, Lago's Ice Cream in Rye will hold their annual 'Free Ice Cream Day,' benefiting Families First Pediatrics. Not only do you get a free baby size  ice cream cone, you also get a chance to help our your community (donations are gladly accepted). Lago's last day of official business for the 2018 season is Saturday, September 29th.  Free Ice Cream Day takes place RAIN OR SHINE ON Sunday, September 30th at the Rye, NH Location (while supplies last).
